Mr. Asim Waqar started his professional journey in Pakistan Army and served in different areas of country. In September 1997, he joined Survey of Pakistan as Deputy Director, having academic expertise in Civil Engineering and coherent understanding of Surveying & Mapping. He contributed in the progress, advancement and remained a key player in project growth of organization for 24 years. As Director, he plays his role in transforming Survey of Pakistan's vision and helps create well structured organization. He plays significant role in contributing to the sustainable development and modernization of country with a clear vision, strategic direction for Surveying & Mapping and advanced knowledge in Geo-Informatics
