Mr. Faisal joined the Survey of Pakistan in 2009 as a Technical Assistant (Field) and later served as Assistant Director, commanding field survey units for over a decade. He has contributed to key national projects, including the Pakistan–Afghanistan and Pakistan–Iran border surveys and the Cadastral Survey of Government Lands in Balochistan.

A graduate of Wuhan University, China, with a Master’s in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering, he currently serves as Chief Instructor at the Survey Training Institute, leading initiatives for institutional modernization, Strategy 2030, and capacity enhancement under the guidance of the Surveyor General of Pakistan
