Mr. Arshad Iqbal joined the SoP as a Technical Assistant (Photogrammetry) in May 2001 and selected as Assistant Director through FPSC in 2007, With his strong technical foundation in the field of photogrammetry, he pursued and earned his Master of Engineering in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from LIESMARS, Wuhan University in 2014. Since then, he has been undertaking several key assignments focused on advancing his professional discipline and contributing to the technical development of the department. Since 2021, he has been serving as the Director of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, where he leads the planning, management and supervision of geospatial data development in 3D domain. He remains dedicated to strengthening the directorate’s capabilities through the advanced, technology-driven integration of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and GIS in Pakistan
