Updates are captured through remote sensing. Aerial imagery and satellite data are overlaid with existing maps to identify changes, which are then incorporated into the database. Meanwhile, field surveyors collect precise coordinates using advanced equipment and GNSS base stations, ensuring the most accurate and frequently refreshed maps available.

Perhaps the most famous, most easily recognisable side of our business, our consumer products continue to benefit millions of customers every year. Our maps app have over 4.1 million paying users accessing more than 7 million routes, and we produce around two million paper maps a year.
